WMIL was Country when Country wasn’t cool! Specifically, they were “Milwaukee’s Real Country FM.” I grabbed this quick Legal ID during a mid-winter ice storm which opened up the FM band and allowed reception from my location at Apple Valley, MN.
Equipment used for this aircheck was a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM yagi antenna, Alliance rotor, Belden RG59 ultra loss coaxial cable, Technics stereo cassette deck, and TDK SA90 tape.
