“At 101″, WIXX is the long running heritage CHR in the home of the Green Bay Packers! I’m guessing the station may have been automated at this point (?) I was able to hear this in the overnight hours, early on a Sunday morning. An ice storm at my location in Apple Valley, MN made reception possible by opening up the band a bit. All I have is this short aircheck clip, unfortunately.
To grab this, I used a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM yagi antenna, Alliance rotor, Belden RG59 ultra low loss coaxial cable, Technics stereo cassette deck, and TDK SA90 tape.
