McDonald’s has the McDouble for $1.00 on Tax Day and every other day. It’s on the Value Menu. That’s a dollar for 2 patties and a slice of a cheese. In most places, you can get a Double Cheeseburger (2 patties and 2 slices of cheese) for 20 cents more. So, is 1 patty and no cheese for 59 cents really a big deal?

What about the McDonald’s in the Mall of America? I walked by there today and didn’t see any signs for the 2 for $3.33 deal. I know they will honor coupons if you have them, but I’m not sure if they’re doing the Filet-O-Fish special.

At Minnesota McDonald’s, it’s 2 for $3.33. BOO! The regular Filet-O-Fish price is $2.79. So, it’s a discount, but not nearly as good as 99 cents or $1.00 like some of the other states. I think Wisconsin and Iowa are also 2 for $3.33.
