KNWC-FM, the 100,000 watt voice of Northwestern College in Sioux Falls! I included this station earlier on my Sioux Falls Dial Scan aircheck composite. But I thought it deserved it’s own individual page as well. From an antenna mounted high on the KELO-TV tower, KNWC enjoyed a huge signal that reached 3 states. Reception from my location in Apple Valley, MN was fairly easy with just a bit of white noise on the signal.
Equipment used was a Pioneer SX-3900 receiver, Winegard 10 element FM directional yagi antenna, Belden ultra low loss RG59 coaxial cable, Alliance antenna rotor, Technics stereo cassette deck, and Scotch Dynarange 90 tape.
