Verizon Wireless – $59.99 Unlimited Talk and Text to Any Mobile!

If you like to talk and make most of your wireless calls to other cell phones, Verizon Wireless has a new plan you’re sure to love! The Unlimited Any Mobile Plan gives you unlimited talk and text to any mobile, any network in the U.S! You also get 450 anytime minutes for calling landline phones, plus unlimited nights and weekends.

This plan is currently available only in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and “select markets” in Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. Pricing varies, but is $59.99 per month in most areas. Verizon Wireless is marketing this wireless plan as being available “for a limited time only.” From what I understand, this means it will be available until the end of the year, at which time Verizon will decide whether or not to make it a permanent choice and/or available in other parts of the country.

Current deals on cell phones include the Droid Incredible by HTC for just $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebate debit card and the Samsung Intensity II FREE after $50 mail-in rebate debit card. All phones require new 2-year activation with Verizon Wireless.

McDonald’s – The McRib is Back for a Limited Time!

The elusive McRib sandwich has returned to McDonald’s! It pops up occasionally in certain parts of the country, usually during the winter months or around Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years when diners are looking for an inexpensive warm meal. The rumor is that this time, McDonald’s is going to be offering the McRib nationwide for the first time in 15 years.

Walking by my local McDonald’s yesterday, I noticed the posters on the windows proclaiming this most blessed event! This pork patty sandwich with pickles and onions is actually very good and well worth the price which remains under $3 in most locations. In my town, a McRib sandwich only is $2.79 while the Extra Value Meal (sandwich, fries, and a drink) will set you back just $4.79. Again, we rate this to be a good value. If you want “something different” next time you’re at McDonald’s, get your hands on a McRib!
